FX ( Foreign Exchange ) Sales
Leading investment bank looking to add a senior sales person to their G10 FX Sales desk in London. The candidate will have a minimum of 7 years experience selling G10 FX products to institutions located in Europe. The candidate must have a transferable book of business of institutional clients and be able to start generating revenue almost immediately.
The focus of the role will be to contribute to and increase the number of active investors ( institutional clients ) to whom the bank distributes G10 FX products in Europe. This role will have a broad mandate allowing flexibility with constructing G10 FX products that the institutional client base demands. This bank has global reach and a very strong presence in the UK and Europe.
Key skills and responsibilities:
- A minimum of 7 years on a G10 FX sales desk at a bank ( with a focus on sales to institutional clients ) in Europe
- A transferable account list of institutional clientele based in Europe
- Hungry, aggressive sales person
- Proven track record of strong revenue generation figures
- Maintenance of the existing institutional client base and acquisition of new institutional clients in the European market.
- Take orders and execute on behalf of clients
- Improve levels of business passing through desk, improving profitability
- Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas with regards to FX products
- Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
