FX News Editor

DJ FX Trader, a joint venture between Dow Jones Newswires and the Wall Street Journal, is looking for a new foreign-exchange news editor based in London.

The role involves overseeing a team of reporters, and supervising, guiding and editing coverage ranging from real-time market news, analysis, blogs and features. Knowledge of the industry and infrastructure behind the currencies market, and a sense of the big stories in this area too, would be a significant advantage. An ability to generate story ideas and work with colleagues to carry them through to completion is key.

The right candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong grasp of the key macroeconomic issues of the day, keen news judgement, and an ability to develop stories for our different platforms, including wires, online, print and video.

 

A can-do attitude, and a willingness to work with a diverse range of editors in London and in different time zones around the world are essential.
