Robert Half is currently representing a small, but growing City based Banking institution to urgently hire an FX Operations and Payments Analyst. The company have expanded this year, winning new business. The role is being marketed as initially temporary with the potential to go permanent after a few months.

The Role

Robert Half are currently representing a small, but growing City based Banking institution to urgently hire an FX Operations and Payments Analyst. The company have expanded this year, winning new business. There is small Operations team and the role is looking for someone with a minimum of 1- 2 years experience within either an FX Operations, or Payments role. The chosen candidate must have working knowledge of both SWIFT Alliance and Flexcube.Due to the size of the team and company, the role is varied across Payments, Static Data, Cash liquidity, FX Settlements, processing FX and Treasury transactions, as well as providing back up for the creation of intraday cash liquidity positions with Treasury. The role is responsible for processing of transactions in line with working procedures, internal controls and checklists to limit Operational Risk. Principle Accountabilities:- Accurate error- free processing of transactions in a timely manner.- Deadline driven payment processing for GBP and EUR transactions from the foreign HQ- Intraday view of the processing queues in Flexcube and Swift Alliance gateway to ensure transactions are processed and released within counterparty / agent deadlines to prevent delay and errors.- Regular view within Safewatch regulatory filter - held queue to ensure transactions are either released or referred to Compliance for a decision on whether funds should be blocked. - Swift Printer and Message distribution - logging of the incoming swift messages routed to the departmental printer and distribution of messages to the relevant departments.

Salary Benefits

£14 ph- £16 ph.
