A Foreign Exchange Trading Platform Vendor is looking for an FX Trading Platform Developer, with experience developing on FX Trading Systems, to join their architecture team based in Barcelona.
As the FX Trading Platform Developer (Java, J2SE, Concurrency) you will be coming from a background in FX and ideally developing on FX Trading Systems. Your role will be to help develop and architect a Greenfield FX Trading System that will form the centre point of this Vendor's plans over the next few years. You will be working with a team of 5 developers and a Senior Architect and will be creating fresh, new code.
This Vendor has already had considerable success with their current system and is looking to continue to innovate with the creation of this system. This development team is based in Barcelona and they are looking to bring someone in either from Barcelona or over from London to join the team. Anyone joining the firm will be given a share in the company and will be able to benefit in the success going forward.
The FX Trading Platform Developer (Java, J2SE, Concurrency) will need:
* Strong experience with Core J2SE Java Development - Essential
* Knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX) - Essential
* Experience working in an agile environment - Highly Beneficial
* Experience with Concurrency or Multi-Threading issues - Highly Beneficial
* Any experience with Ruby-on-Rails - Beneficial
This is a rare chance for a FX Trading Platform Developer (Java, J2SE, Concurrency) to join a Greenfield project and help build an FX Trading system from the ground up. You will play a core part in the creation of the platform and will be providing domain expertise around FX Trading.
