FX/MM Operations

 

•         Responsible for managing Asset Transfer - FX/MM process for Asia (HK and SG)

•         Assist with the development and documentation of the Asset transfer concepts and translate the same into technical requirements for technical tool development

•         Liaise with technical migration team for migration tools development, testing, training and roll out

•         Manage the end to end process – Ensure account readiness for migration, actual migration involving liaison with Zurich as required and post migration reconciliation

•         •         Liaise with the Account opening / Account migration team to ensure account readiness for migration

•         Directing and Co-ordinating the day to day processing activities of the Asset Migration Team

•    •         Liaise with external service providers (Custodians, Nostro Agents etc) to ensure smooth transition.

•         Ensure that an adequate control environment is implemented and maintained in line with agreed timeframe and settlement cycle of the various asset types.

•         Reconcile, review and ensure that reconciliations are performed timely before and after migration

•         Keep track of and ensure timely closure of open reconciliation items like late transferring assets, follow up for / clean up pot migration

•         Provide periodic and timely status reporting on transfer status

•         Provide guidance, training and assistance to team members in addition to managing the team

 

Must have:

1)           FX/MM and Reconciliation

2)            Middle office support role facing internal clients (should have extensive ops knowledge)

Professional and Technical Skills:

Minimum with 3 years of relevant experience

•                  Broad exposure and experience across Banking and investment products processing (FX/MM reconciliation)

•         Must have Project Management as well as Operations Line / Team  Management experience

Personal and Social Skills:

•         Must be able to interact and work with a broad spectrum of people – from Processing staff  to Management

•         Good communication skills

•         Strong people management

•         Fast learner and able to think and adapt to situations as needed

•         May need to work over weekends / late evenings over an extended period of time

 

Must have good knowledge and skillset for MS Access and Excel
