Leading global investment bank looking to add a senior sales person to their FI Sales team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience selling G10 Macro Interest Rates to financial institutions / hedge funds located in the APAC region ( Hong Kong predominantly ). The candidate must have a transferable book of clients and be able to start generating revenue immediately. This bank has international reach and a very strong presence globally.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for primary coverage of Hong Kong financial institutions / hedge funds. The focus of the role will be to contribute to and increase the number of active investors to whom the bank distributes G10 Macro Interest Rate products. This role will have a broad mandate allowing flexibility with constructing Macro Interest Rate products that the institutional client base demands.

The role:
• Maintain and develop relationships with financial institutions / hedge funds clients based in the APAC region ( Hong Kong predominantly )
• Develop the APAC institutional client franchise by improving levels of business passing through desk and therefore profitability
• Market G10 Macro Interest Rate products
• Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years industry experience in Macro Interest Rate Sales at a bank
• Must have market knowledge, interest, and experience in the Interest Rates and G10 markets
• A strong track record of financial institutional / hedge fund sales, with a particular focus on G10 Macro Interest Rate products
• Knowledge of the Interest Rates credit and documentation process
• Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
• Good understanding of Hong Kong regulatory feedback
• A transferable financial institution / hedge fund client list based in APAC
