Position Summary:
Crawford Global Technical Services (GTS) is seeking a qualified RGA, NGA or EGA for the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Under minimal supervision, the adjuster has the authority to resolve complex commercial casualty and property losses at insurer's direction. This could include, and is not limited to, investigating damages, negotiating adjustment of losses as directed with corporate management, brokerage personnel, lawyers, accountants or public adjuster representing the insured. May also be tasked to present evidence in legal proceeding; make sales calls and presentations. Role varies including direct loss assignment handling, assisting other GTS branches on loss handling, and handling commercial catastrophe claims.
There are opportunities to be nominated and manage national accounts.
Requirements:
- Licensed as required by state and local jurisdictions
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience adjusting complex property claims with heavy losses.
- Strong analytical and mathematical ability.
Preferred:
- College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Associate in Claims (AIC) through AICPCU
