General Manager
Key leadership role reporting to the Group CFO
This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation in a senior and highly influential position through a period of transformation within the finance team and broader entity. A strong people leadership role,it is charged with providing strategic direction through effective decision support, analysis, planning, performance reporting budgeting functions.
Major accountabilities:
- Develop in depth understanding of dynamics external environment in which the business competes coordinate business strategy development
- Implement relevant models for pricing new business proposals
- Develop and implement strategic plans, business plans business reviews
- Project manage month end process involvement in/resolution of accounting issues
- Prepare monthly management reporting packs ad hoc analysis
- Provide financial commercial support
- Contribute to annual half yearly Management Discussion Analysis (MDA) for inclusion in Annual Report Analyst Shareholder briefing presentations
- Management of Annual Business Plan quarterly 3 year rolling forecast processes
- Report track group's capital expenditure
- Effectively engage build excellent relationships with all internal external stakeholders
- Ensure high degree of collaboration across the group
- Develop retain a high performing finance team with continuous improvement focus
Position requirements:
- Extensive commercial experience post CA or CPA
- Demonstrated success in a senior finance role(s)
- Experience in supporting a publicly listed company
- Financial services, funds management experience
- Demonstrated capability in team leadership including coaching, mentoring, development
- Demonstrated ability in managing complex multiple stakeholders relationships
- Strong analytical decision making capability with superior communication skills
- Recognised as credible, commands respect from Senior Executives, Board Members relevant external stakeholders
- Motivated, results focused with a flexible and pragmatic approach
