The General Manager Investment will be responsible for investment promotion, attraction and facilitation. They will shape Austrade’s investment strategy to meet Government objectives,delivering an ambitious program of inward investment to help increase Australia’sproductivity, economic growth and competitiveness.
Working within the Australian Operations senior executive team, the General Manager Investment will head Austrade’s Investment Group, providing functional leadership to its international investment network and on shore investment team.
You will need highly developed skills and competencies in line with the APS - SES core selection criteria, as well as significant experience in international investment and trade, including as a senior, executive-level international manager.You must have a sound understanding of the Australian investment landscape and how to market Australia as an investment destination of choice.
To be successful you will bring to Austrade strong commercial acumen and an outstanding track record of achievement in senior management within a substantial, complex organisation.
Candidates must be Australian citizens and agree to be subject to a national security assessment for clearance at Negative Vetting Level 2 (Top Secret).
