Part of a major Group, our client is a volume-driven packaging organisation with an impressive client base, over a hundred employees and an annual turnover exceeding £30m. A rare opportunity has now arisen for a highly autonomous General Manager to take full PL and strategic responsibility for the development of this fast paced site.

 

With exceptional commercial skills, you will relish the opportunity to develop the performance of this business, harnessing the support of a committed and loyal workforce to maximise profitability, improve efficiencies through continuous improvement and foster a customer-focussed culture to respond to the needs of the blue chip customer base it supports.

 

Your previous experience of mentoring, coaching and developing teams will be particularly valued in a position where you will take overall strategic responsibility for developing the company’s substantial potential.

 

Ideally educated to degree level, you must have an impressive track record in general management, gained within a performance-orientated, business-to-business, manufacturing environment. You will be able to demonstrate how your significant experience of driving and implementing operational and commercial strategies have delivered change and improved profitability, gaining the support, trust and commitment of employees, suppliers and customers alike.
