Location: Shanghai, China
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of an enhanced sales strategy and unique selling proposition for the Company, ensuring its alignment with business goals
- Build and manage relationships with key strategic accounts and generate new national and regional accounts
- Expand channel mix beyond traditional channels
- Evaluate the product lines and price points vs the competition and consumer trends
- Develop strong sales processes and disciplines for the sales organization to improve sales execution and account coverage
- Assess capabilities, staffing, training and development
- Deepen relationships to maximize the Company’s market penetration
- Develop and drive a customer based culture
- Work collaboratively with the Chairman to develop effective positioning collateral
- Evaluate and improve the customer service function, increasing the value-added nature of the work
Requirements
- Execellent communication skills in spoken Chinese Mandarin
- Successful track record in sales management in a top-notch sales organization within the furniture/home furnishings industry where he/she has strong relationships
- Experienced management at senior level and have had clear PL responsibility for a business within a multi-national company; ideally in manufacturing industry
- Ability to secure and build strong, long-term customer partnerships with all accounts, especially large national accounts
- Change management mindset, with experience in creating and implementing change
- Sales leadership capabilities to hire, train, develop, coach and lead a sales organization to meet the company’s aggressive growth objectives
- Experience with leading and guiding sales growth through an indirect, independent sales force
- Excellent sales process orientation; having led and implemented sales process improvement
- Ability to develop and implement a sales strategy with a keen understanding of customer needs and focus on channel expansion
- Understanding of product development processes is strongly preferred
- Strong business acumen and bottom-line orientation
- Strong team orientation and ability to deal cross-functionally
- Dynamic personality with high energy and integrity
