General Manager, Strategic Human Resources recruitment
Responsibilities
- As part of the HR leadership team, work closely with Group HR team to develop Group HR strategies that are in line with business strategies, in particular for the Greater China area
- Conceptualize, develop and execute Group HR programs initiatives
- Ensure the alignment of different HR functions such as compensation and benefits(CB), employee relations, recruitment and talent management
- Develop CB programs and manage related policy matters. Lead and work with HR team members in other SBUs within Greater China ensuring that HR policies and procedures, initiatives and programs are aligned and in compliance with local laws and legislations
- Manage the CB of senior hires in Greater China - maintaining records and individual reviews, and working closely with Group HR with regards to salary benchmarks and approvals
- Assist top management of Greater China to build the organization with focus on recruitment
- Develop and implement programs to build culture of integrity, teamwork, performance and professionalism within the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in HR, General Management or Psychology. Preferred with MBA or Masters in Human Capital Management or related specialization.
- At least 12 years of HR experience with regional responsibilities. Must have direct work experience in mainland China ideally from the manufacturing industry
- Sound business acumen with proven track record of implementing HR programs in mainland China and HK, especially in CB and Recruitment
- Familiar with mainland China and HK employment policies, industry practices and CB surveys
- Mature and confident and must be able to interact with senior executives in China and HK
- Willing to travel to mainland China, especially in initial 3-6 months to understand China practices and operations
