Geologist – Underground Mine $136K
- It is more challenging than most with a structurally complex orebody
- Because it is structurally complex geology the mine is very geologically driven. Meaning the Mine Geologists have an influence on all parts of the process, from the resource model, to mine plan and design, to extraction. This gives a lot of points of contact adding variety to your day
- It is quite a new underground mine so it is a really good opportunity to put your mark on it.
- Promotion- the Geology Superintendent has marked this position as someone who would move quickly to a Project role. The current Project Geologist looks to be moved to a Senior role in the near future and the other two Mine Geologists are a little more junior.
- The team size- There is enough people to make it interesting and varied but not too much that you just become a number.
- Good modern core farm that is nice to work in
- 8/6 roster with extra benefits including bonuses and brand new camp.
- From what I have seen they are paying at the top of the industry for someone at this level.
