German-Speaking Structured Products Sales, London

My client, a highly competitive Investment Bank who are a market leader within the retail structured products market, are currently searching for a new salesperson to join their UK HQ in London.  The role will involve selling a range of structured products to Private Banks and Independent Asset Managers to the German-speaking Swiss market.  The ideal candidate will have an outstanding educational background (ideally holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree) with a strong understanding of equity derivatives (also ideally structured notes).  Due to the market coverage, the successful applicant will be fully fluent / native in German.  My client is also very interested in candidates who are trilingual in German, French and English, however whilst this is an ideal criteria it is not mandatory.

 

Job Responsibilities:

-Develop new relationships in the structured products sales market from meeting and cold calling new prospective clients

-Service Private Banks and Independent Asset Managers in the German-speaking region of Switzerland

-Communicate effectively with the trading group so client needs are met with optimum results

 

Key Requirements:

-Fully fluent / native in German

-Strong understanding of equity derivatives (structured notes ideally)

-Entrepreneurial and competitive attitude to help build a business

-Happy to work in London
