Role Summary/Purpose
The rapid adoption by GE to deliver cloud services to key business partners has created opportunities to grow our talent in GIS. We are seeking to expand our leadership team with leadership roles that will help accelerate our introduction of new platform services.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership in managing new service introduction (NSI) delivery and support for GE Businesses
  • Engage in strategic planning - ensuring Platform Service needs are fulfilled - driving growth
  • Build roadmaps for products, processes and technology in support of the cloud
  • Establish and maintain with key stakeholders within Corporate IT and across GE business organization
  • Proactively provide Platform Services solutions to business needs
  • Partner with engagement teams to create and align business plans
  • Lead efforts to provide forecasting, S2/Op planning and budgeting for all enterprise solutions
  • Advise key stakeholders on Platform Services technology issues and opportunities
  • Participate in business unit activities to ensure appropriate alignment of team to solve for key requirements. Match products and services to facilitate the fulfillment of business needs
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction levels through established relationships and agreed upon metrics

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of strong IT experience in IT infrastructure application development
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading enterprise solutions including email, VDI, cloud solutions

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work from an office in Cincinnati, OH, Danbury CT, or Alpharetta, GA

    Desired Characteristics

  • Proven product portfolio management skills, including the ability to effectively manage resources and multiple projects of various diverse scopes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large global projects
  • Solid business acumen and knowledge of commercial business processes
  • Effective leadership skills including demonstrated experience leading project teams, driving engagement, influencing across multiple functions in a matrix type setting, and strong communications skills
  • Experience collaborating with corporate executives senior leaders to implement critical projects
  • Proven track record in supporting all aspects of technology needs from start-up through maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to conceive and deliver a broad range of technology solutions to solve complex global application problems
  • Black Belt or Green Belt Certification
  • Project Management Certification
  • ITIL management process knowledge and experience and/or certification
