GL Accountant (Fixed Assets)
Our Client, a prestigious and highly respected global outsourcing company, is seeking a GL ACCOUNTANT (FIXED ASSETS) to join its team in Warsaw.
The successful Candidate will be responsible for year-end audit files accordingly to the written procedures, reviewing of work delivered by local bookkeeper, performing monthly and quarterly tasks in line with procedures and being first point of contact for local bookkeeper and external auditor. In addition, GL Accountant will be also responsible for performing a detailed review of both B/S and P/L accounts for errors, omissions or inconsistencies, managing the relationship with the business counterpart and local bookkeeper, taking full responsibility for timely preparation of all deliverables related to allocated Entities and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
The ideal candidate should have master degree in accountancy. To work effectively on this position, you should have audit and shared service experience. Ability to work within a problem solving environment, experience in preparation of financial statements is essential. Preferred candidate is also fluent in English. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel is also a must. ERP literacy is desirable (Oracle preferably).
