GENERAL SUMMARY Responsible for accounts or segments with the greatest strategic and/or economic value to EMC, typically $30M Revenue PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Major- Largest, most complex and strategically valuable prospects global accounts Plans, organizes, leads and controls balanced sales growth, continued account penetration and customer satisfaction on a long-term multi-year focus. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice of the Integrated Sales Cycle. Provides senior leadership in the development of product knowledge, solution, sales and service strategies and competency development using the Integrated Sales Cycle. Must maintain detailed knowledge of EMC software and hardware products, competitive products, customer vertical industry, and have in-depth understanding of the customer's application strategy. Ability to help customer make future application decisions. Nurtures an extensive network of industry leaders, customers and prospects. Provides guidance and leadership in project management and strategic sales initiatives. Typically provides a business focus for 1-3 subordinate sales Managers and Account Execs/Reps directly or indirectly. SKILLS Communication skills. Consultative skills. Time management skills.
