Shop Foreman

Supervise all shop personnel in the day-to-day tasks that are necessary in manufacturing or re-manufacturing equipment according to Company quality and safety standards, to meet product line objectives. Duties, Responsibilities and General Knowledge: -Must have knowledge in both Microsoft Excel and Word programs. -Be able to read and understand all mechanical/assembly drawings and work instructions necessary. -Ability to plan, facilitates, and executes a weekly work schedule to optimize the resources and personal availability with minimal instructions. -Maintain all equipment documentation throughout the complete process of the assembly. -Completes DOT inspection and auxiliary reports after unit inspection is completed. -Perform employee evaluations and interviews. -General knowledge of engine rebuilding/repairing, power transmissions both mechanical and hydraulic repairing and rebuilding. -General knowledge of electrical, air systems, hydraulic systems a must. -General knowledge of the Oilfield equipment service industry. -Basic understanding of EPA, OSHA, and day to day facility maintenance. Initiative: -Improve management and production of mechanical assembly. -Identify solutions to unique and complex problems. -Maintain a SAFE, Positive, attitude while encouraging other to do also. Physical Demands: -Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Able to lift 65 lbs from floor to shoulder level occasionally. -Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 100 lbs. -Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands and fingers. Also crawling and working in narrow spaces. -Requires frequent repetitive movements, i.e. hammering, turning wrenches, or used screwdrivers. -Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers. -Normal vision with or without corrective lenses. -Exposed to cold, heat, noise mechanical/electrical fume or odor. -Will be required on occasion to work more than 8 hours on one shift. Must pass criminal background, physical and drugscreen prior to employment.
