Global Compliance Policies
We are recruiting for a VP to join the Global Policies team. You will be responsible for the drafting and delivery of the Global Compliance Policies and Global Standards applicable across the Bank.
Purpose of role
The Global Policies team are responsible for the Global Compliance Policies and Global Standards applicable across the Bank.
The primary responsibilities of these roles include:
Supporting the successful delivery and communication of high quality policy documents
Support the development and further enhancement of governance structures for policy document review.
Ensure robust communication and reporting channels with key stakeholders whilst also providing appropriate related assurance to Senior Management.
Enhance the processes and supporting technology for policy documents.
Development and contribution to management information
Promote the cultural, behavioural and organisational changes necessary within the compliance function and the business to achieve continuous improvement.
Role requirements
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Operational Risk Frameworks and internal Policies and Standards
Professional/technical experience
Demonstrated experience in the regulatory space of a financial services firm
A strong understanding of the rules and regulations relevant to either a Retail or Wholesale Business in the UK
As this is a global entity, exposure to relevant regulations outside of the UK will be beneficial
Experience in the development and implementation of Global Policies
A good knowledge and understanding of Retail or Wholesale products and services
