Global Credit Manager | new Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Delivery Centre | Krakow, Poland
A global BPO organisation recognised as a world leader and innovator in the business process outsourcing sector is establishing a new FA (Finance Accounting) BPO Delivery Centre in Krakow.
The new FA BPO Delivery Centre in Krakow will deliver a portfolio of Order to Cash (OTC) and Credit Management (CM) services to a client base that includes some of the worlds most high-profile and fast-growth technology organisations.
They are now recruiting a Global Credit Manager to join their newly established Management Team in Krakow to lead a team of credit professionals delivering outsourced credit decisioning and credit management services to mitigate risk and support working capital management for one of their key clients in the technology sector.
The Global Credit Manager will provide thought leadership, operational direction and oversight across all credit management activities, establishing processes to meet strategic, operational, reporting, and compliance objectives to ensure credit risks are identified and assessed; then managed and mitigated to achieve agreed performance metrics in line with best practice and cash collection optimisation.
Acting as a trusted advisor to the business by delivering key decision support which enables profitable growth, the Global Credit Manager will have a strong capacity for leading change, dealing with ambiguity and providing creative solutions.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have worked successfully as a Lead or Manager in Credit Management ideally within a customer facing Shared Services or client facing BPO environment.
A proven track record of owning and driving strategic change and improvement in the customer operational areas of Credit Management with the ability to drive strategic organisational agility through operational excellence, continuous process improvement and streamlining activities will be important.
Skills Expertise required:
- A Third Level Qualification, preferably in a finance discipline.
- Considerable experience (5 + years) within a Shared Services / BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) environment.
- Previous management experience in the area of Credit Management services.
- Very strong communication skills, team building, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, negotiation decision making.
- Proven ability to drive change and lead global transformation projects within a dynamic organisation.
- Strong strategic skills with the ability to take the client’s strategy and translate this into an effective operating model.
- Fluency in English and Polish are essential for this role, other European languages a distinct advantage.
