Global FP&A Manager

Reporting directly to the Global Director of FPA, the position offers high visibility within the Capco Finance team and to senior management, exposure to international business processes and culture and a high level of responsibility with a wide breadth of tasks to challenge the successful candidate   This position requires taking responsibility for the provision to the global business of financial information that illustrates current and forecasted future performance of the business. The role has a heavy emphasis on the analysis of actual results, the compilation of short and medium term forecasts / budgets, and longer-term business planning, utilizing both financial and non-financial metrics, and developing and implementing the future business reporting systems

Key Responsibilities

·      Responsible for the day to day management of a worldwide team of analysts providing financial data and analysis to the business.

·      Managing developing global management reporting processes that relate to the monthly financial close.

·   Key role in implementing new reporting strategies across the business including process improvement within the existing reporting infrastructure and to work towards the implementation of a new reporting tool to evolve the reporting process further.

·      Managing the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial commentary and presentations to Global CEO, Executive Management Committee and External Owners.

·       Liaise with business units to improve the quality of narrative reporting across the group, emphasizing both non-financial and financial metrics.

·       Develop Balanced Scorecard and non-financial reporting metrics, incorporating KPIs arising from strategic review.

·       Provide insight into company performance vs. previous years / trends.

·       Responsible for the design and implementation of budget and forecast processes and timetables to fulfil global requirements.

·      Constantly monitor any adhoc reporting/ analysis requests from the regions with an aim to standardize the reporting support provided to the regions.

·       Manage reporting requirements of External Owners and adhere to strict reporting timelines.

·       Business and Financial Reporting:

Experience

·    Experience of ERP Peoplesoft and or Oracle

·    Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) required.

·    Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills required.

·   Business experience commensurate with the high profile and level of responsibility this position entails.  Judgment, leadership, communication skills, and a customer service attitude are critical.

·    Strong people management and development skills.

·    Financial process management skills.

·    Excellent organization skills, with a demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities appropriately.

·    Ability to understand the business’s needs and how to successfully support a high-growth organization, translating this into business-oriented processes and procedures that achieve objectives timely and effectively.

·     Ability to produce an accurate, timely, complete and compliant set of reports at both local and global level.

·    Prior experience within a European company; or significant exposure to non-US cultures within a global company, required.

·     Excel guru to macro level

·     Experience of sql and reporting / analysis services

Additional Requirements

Must be willing to travel occasionally if business needs indicate.  Expect this may occur once or twice a year.
