Global Head of Governance and Control, £140,000 to £170,000 base
A leading Global bank is seeking an experienced and strategic individual to spearhead a number of key initiatives from a Risk and Governance perspective. This organisation has paved the way in market leading consumer initiatives resulting in a greater market presence resulting in an increased consumer base.
This retail arm has grown their digital marketing offerings to a global consumer base and the successful Head of Governance and controls will assess the Operational Risks and Governance in relation to each new initiative. This is a unique role offering the individual the opportunity to play a leading part in new global digital and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
Take ownership for the Operational Risk, Governance and Control for digital and marketing initiatives
Assess global policy in relation to technology and compliance
Lead a large global team comprising of up to 70 individuals
Lead Risk and control committees
Spearhead strategic projects based on new initiatives and associated risks
Ensure risk framework conformance
You must have
Experience in delivering new consumer initiatives whilst aware of the governance surrounding it
Proven experience in delivering business change
Advanced knowledge of Operational Risk
Previous global responsibility
Whilst this role is within a leading bank, banking experience is not necessary, the ideal Global Head of Governance and Control can come from Utilities, Insurance, Telco or any consumer led industry.
As well as a strong base- this role offers a very lucrative bonus.
