Global head of independent quality assurance - financial services, CMMI, ITIL, PMBOK, COBIT, TOGAF, ISC/IEC 27002. £100-130k + bonus + benefits
Harrington Starr are working with a leading global exchange to recruit a head of independent quality assurance to validate policies, procedures and supporting processes for the technology and infrastructure divisions globally.
You will report into the CIO and take chares of defining, maintaining and ensuring processes are properly followed including planning audits and arranging meetings with managers to formulate policies.
This is a brand new role at a high-profile financial services business and you will accept responsibility for transforming the current set of processes and procedures to ensure that they are adequate, coherent and being followed.
You will engage with senior management to help define policies and standard across the technology and infrastructure division and put together an audit schedule to ensure they are followed and understood.
This role will require extensive communication with internal and external auditors, technical and business stakeholders and various levels of management.
To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and experience:
ü Experience with a variety of quality initiatives and structured management techniques such as ISC/IEC 27002, COBIT, CMMI, ITIL, TOGAF, PMBOK and PRINCE 2
ü Hands on management style
ü Strong analytical skills with the ability to grasp complex trends
ü Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document processes and presenting to executive-level management
ü Ability to drive forward change when complex issues need to be overcome to achieve it
ü Degree level education in an IT related subject
