Global Head of Learning and Development recruitment

 Summary:  

This is an exciting opportunity for a Global Head of Learning and Development to join a dynamic, multi-national company head-quartered in Hong Kong. They have diverse, rising global businesses and have operations in over 40 countries on 5 continents. The company has grown quickly since 2003 with a 600% increase in employee numbers and it is now time to consolidate the growth phase with L+D strategies that ensure sustainable growth and high performance.  

Responsibilities: 

One of the key initial tasks of this role will be to review the current L+D initiatives and capabilities for 2500 trading, corporate and white collar staff.  A framework and methodology will then need to be produced that will set the future direction for the L+D function. It is important that a strategic, commercial viewpoint is taken on new initiatives and programmes that are pragmatic, workable and specific to business unit needs.  

Requirements: 

You will be degree qualified and have a minimum of 10 years experience in a progressively more responsible role. Significant exposure to a multi-culture environment and workforce with its challenging L+D implications, and to those in Asia currently with empathy for the region will be preferred. The successful candidate will also have the intellectual capacity to come up with new solutions in a rapidly changing environment. 

Remuneration: circa US$190,000 per annum + up to 100% bonus
