Global Investment Research (GIR) produces the fundamental research and analysis of industries, companies, and economies, which drive commercial business for the firm. We develop relationships with investing clients and help them achieve superior returns through our industry insights and investment ideas.

Working within the Equity Research Dubai team, the successful candidate would be working with senior analysts to analyse companies and stocks across a number of industry sectors and the factors that affect the industries as a whole. Also will have some responsibility for specific stock and will be responsible for the analysis of individual companies and their equities across a number of sectors.  

Responsibilities

•  Will be responsible for the segment news flow and company models for specific companies across different sectors within MENA

•  To produce regular reports summarising findings and predictions

•  To communicate views on securities through sales force and through direct client contact

•  Primary responsibility for specific institutional client

•  Contribute to views on other sectors as well as contribute to overall sector views/pieces

•  Develop and maintain relationship with financial staff of companies covered

Preferred Qualifications

•Experience with MENA Research would be an advantage

•Must speak Arabic

•Strong commercial skills and can pick stocks which produce revenue for our clients

•Ability to build strong client relationships

•First class oral communication skills to market ideas

•Strong written communication skills with the ability to compile and write reports and investment recommendations

•Build/maintain complex financial models

•Excellent academic background - no specific degree background necessary
