Global Key Account Manager

A large professional services firm is looking for a Global Key Account Manager. This is a high profile, high visibility role, working with a Relationship Manager to handle and develop key accounts. You will have a mainly internally focused role, however when called upon will need to be confident in client facing situations. The main duties will be providing support, planning, and research to a number of key account teams and the Relationship Manager. The successful candidate will need a strong business development background, and current account management experience. Experience gained in a professional service, or Legal environment would be a huge advantage.

Requirements:

-Educated to degree level or equivalent; ideally within Marketing or equivalent Sales/Business Development qualification.

-Strong and current Account Management experience is essential.

-Experience with and understanding of professional services and the service lines involved.

-A strong track record of developing, implementing and delivering BD and strategic marketing plans to achieve agreed fee income targets in a global environment.

-A strong commercial awareness and the ability to engage with and influence key decision makers at a senior level, to identify new business opportunities with both new prospects and existing clients.

-Thorough understanding and demonstrable application of lead generation, sales and or client management activity and proposal/bid management.

-Project management experience.
