Global Operation Manager Job in Windsor Locks, Connecticut Us
Responsibility to the VP of Mechanical Operations to:
Develop 1-3-5 year strategy for Mechanical Operations
Drive operations performance metrics (delivery, inventory, cycle-time, variation, etc.), conduct value analysis and recommend solutions
Resource capacity planning, equipment utilization and establishing product portfolios
Execution and implementation of transition plans to timelines and budgets
Develop cost reduction plans and execute to project milestones
Lead 3PL Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) strategy
Manage the organizations Balanced Scorecard and strategy maps
Lead weekly VP staff meetings and represent VP in key review sessions
§ Responsible for supporting the VP of Mechanical Operations with day to day affairs, special projects and presentation material.
BA or BS required. Preferred MBA with finance concentration.
10 years + experience in Operations; strategic planning, project management preferred.
Working knowledge of JDE is preferred, but at a minimum ERP experience is mandatory.
Must be fully proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Must have strong financial and statistical skills (financial and strategic planning, value analysis, cash flow management, expense analysis, and PL management).
