Global OTC and CCP Program – PMO Analyst recruitment
Job Description
Legislation passed in the US (Dodd Frank), in the EU, and proposed legislation in Asia related to execution, clearing and reporting of derivative contracts will have a significant impact on the way OTC derivatives are traded and processed globally. These regulations aim to fulfil the G20 commitments that all standardised OTC derivatives, where possible, should be cleared through Central Clearing Counterparties (CCPs), and that OTC derivative contracts should be reported to trade repositories.
Working for the Global Program Manager, the Business Program Management Office (PMO) Analyst has responsibility for the definition of and operation of ongoing program controls.
Key Roles Responsibilities
Establish the Business Program Office as the source for all program and project artefacts
Assess the work being undertaken across each location to enforce appropriate and common governance, controls and reporting, thereby imposing a consistent level of quality within existing and to be initiated workstreams
Establish a global communications framework, plan and deliverables to maintain common understanding across the key stakeholder groups
Create and update key program outputs, including organisation, governance, progress tracking and plans
Monitor program level activities such that they are planned, executed and completed within agreed time, budget and quality
Work with the regional program teams to develop key project outputs, to substantiate progress and highlight key issues for consideration
Support for the global program manager in addressing the requirements from all steering committees and key stakeholders
Develop inputs for program workshops and capture all relevant outputs for ongoing actions
Undertake specific analysis tasks to support key program and business decisions
Qualifications Skills
Prior exposure of PMO for largescale change programs in OTC products front-to-back initiatives - regulatory change is valued but not a pre-requisite
Developing PMO functions including communications, standards, templates
Implementing program/project controls across business and technology
Strong documentation and communication skills using Word, Powerpoint and Excel
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of developing relationships with individuals at varying levels of seniority
Structured analysis across product and control functions
