Global Sourcing Manager – Permanent – City recruitment

A leading financial services organisation has a career opportunity in their Central London office for a Global Sourcing Manager.

The position will have hands on responsibility for driving company wide adoption of global sourcing capitalising on a strong network of captives and third party relationships across the business. The position will work with businesses within the organisation to drive global sourcing opportunity assessments, solution identification, and process transitions.

Duties and Responsibilities

*Drive global sourcing projects starting at concept and moving through opportunity assessment, planning, and transition execution
*Collaborate with business leaders to facilitate global sourcing opportunity identification
*Work with senior leaders to promote global sourcing awareness and adoption
*Coordinate internal partners to drive project timelines and deliverables
*Support transition execution including knowledge transfer (may include international travel), technology implementation, and process stabilisation

Required skills and Experience

*Financial Services background - ESSENTIAL
*Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant work experience
*Offshoring, multi-souring and global sourcing
*Process mapping experience
*Ability to handle multiple initiatives
*Experience communicating and building relationships with senior management with respect to offshoring assessments and process management
*Ability to manage diverse teams including international vendors, virtual teams, and other stakeholders across the globe

Desired Skills and Experience

*Six Sigma, PM or similar techniques
*Management consulting experience
