Go Hackers at Thomson Reuters (New York, NY) (allows remote)
Job Description
We need hard core server developers for a GO sip server at Thomson Reuters. Lots of scaling problems with our 200k+ users with 100k+ peak concurrents. This is one of the largest instant messaging servers in the financial community, serving thousands of banks. Our codebase is 100% GO and has been around for less then 6 months, so there is still alot of opportunity to shape the code. Skills Requirements
Looking for developers that have a strong background in scaling large socket servers, preferably in GO or Ruby. We love people coming from a Ruby background, our frontend team uses Ruby/Javascript for the client side of the application. Go experience is desired but not required.
