GoldenSource Product Manager recruitment
The successful candidate will ensure that all the change releases affecting the GoldenSource suite are delivered. You will work alongside the Integration Technical Lead and the Service Manager. As a GoldenSource Product Manager you will ensure that the scope of the release is clearly defined at the iteration planning stage, that it is prioritised and that the release is delivered successfully.
This is a business system user facing role and the GoldenSource Product Manager will be expected to be fully conversant with requirements from the Data Management team.
To be suitable for the role you will have the following:
• You will have an in depth knowledge/experience of GoldenSource (version 8.2 or above)
• Working knowledge of SQL, XML, and XML Schema
• A proven track record of delivery on business critical systems
• Knowledge of Unix, Linux/Solaris
• Experience of working in a structured environment, i.e. Agile
• Must have very strong problem analysis and investigation skills and able to find creative sustainable solution to system issues and user problems.
• Good interpersonal skills are key; the candidate must be able to work well with other members of the team. Communicate clearly and concisely and deal diplomatically with users.
• Experienced in issue/problem management - on both technical and user/process basis.
• Experience of business and process analysis
• Ability to work reliably without close supervision and used to working in a structured environment with clearly defined procedures and controls.
In order to be successful for this role you must have proven track record as a GoldenSource Product Manager. You must have excellent communications skills and able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
