GoldenSource Specialist recruitment
The work involved in the reference data domain usually entails analysis of data requirements, working with data vendors to ascertain if the data required is available, creating workflows to source and store the data in Golden Source. The reference data team also owns the enterprise wide data formats using which this data is published to downstream applications.
Ideally you should have:
Experience with at least one project involving data from vendors like Reuters / Bloomberg implemented using Golden Source
Experience with GoldenSource 8.x tools and frameworks (Mapping Designer, Orchestrator, BED, Workstation) is MANDATORY
Strong application development experience gained from financial markets
Strong programming skills in Java or C++
Strong knowledge of SQL with experience preferably on Oracle
Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, computer science or equivalent
Excellent problem solving communication skills
Ability to work in an environment with changing priorities
Ability to work with clients, development teams, business, senior managers and other team members
A strong sense of ownership with a passion for development and delivering quality software
