Govt Banking Support Analyst

Responsibilities

The Govt. Banking Support Analyst works closely across business lines to support the Municipal/Not-for-Profit customer with Citizens Bank Services.

The Govt. Banking Support Analyst is responsible for product setup for all Municipal/Not-for-Profit customers and has the authority to make significant monetary and product decisions to meet the customer needs. Also responsible for all safety requirements, regulations and compliance issues affecting the Government Banking Division. Must adhere to Service Quality Standards and Corporate Values. Responsible for resolving problems with customer accounts and in his/her capacity will deal directly with various levels of management and support groups within the organization. Maintains high levels of knowledge and procedural expertise to solve and trouble shoot problems, and make recommendations for cross-sell opportunities. Uses discretion when assessing fees, applying rebates and adjustments to customer accounts. Must have expert product knowledge and occasionally provide assistance for others within our Division. Will be updating a Relationship Management System with all important customer data and issues, and assures all issues are closed timely with the customer. Identifies risk associated with new or existing customers that could adversely affect the bank, and communicates these issues to the Relationship Manager, or Senior Management of the Division. Assumes additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications

Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills are critical

Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through to completion with minimal supervision

Detail oriented with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills with advanced PC skills

2 years banking experience. Thorough knowledge of bank operations, systems and products (checking and savings)

Customer service experience required

Cash Management experience is helpful

Retail or Business Banking experience preferred

BA degree preferred or equivalent experience

Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
