Graduate Process Control Engineer

Graduate Process Control Engineer (yield improvement) required. Our client based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, is a precision engineering company that manufactures cast components for the aerospace and power generation industries. They are part of a global manufacturing group, who offer excellent career prospects for graduate level engineers who have some industry experience gained from a similar engineering manufacturing environment. They have an immediate requirement for a Process Control Engineer.

Requirements:-

• A university degree (or equivalent) in a Materials Engineering discipline preferably with some industrial experience. Good knowledge of investment casting.
• In lieu of qualifications, consideration will be given to Process/Quality engineering experience in an investment casting environment.

Role - To coordinate and implement continuous improvement processes to reduce facility scrap and improve product yields.

Reporting to - Yield Improvement Manager

Responsibilities include:-

● Improve working practices / procedures

● Cost reductions

● Process monitoring

● Data and trend analysis
