ROLE INFORMATION:

Looking to recruit a Graduate/Junior Test Analysts to join a fast moving organisation who are utilizing all the latest testing techniques and technologies.

You will play a key role in the test team therefore you must have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Run and execute test scripts test deliverables for all test phases and condition
• Research and analyse problems
• Complete all activities regarding the defect process
• Ensures that testing is compliant with test and business standards.
• Maintain effective lines of communication with all areas of the business
• Adherence to Agile DSDM methodologies and to the Test Team Standard Operating procedures
• Continually develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and all areas of the business

Experience Required

• A recent IT graduate who is looking to start a career in Testing
• ISEB Testing Foundation certificate preferred or a willingness to obtain
• Understanding of Agile Methodologies or a willingness to learn
• Good knowledge of a wide range of common office software
• Ability to work as part of a self organising team in which you determine your tasks on a daily basis in coordination with co-workers rather than waiting for tasks to be assigned to you
• Capable of developing a good working relationship with all areas of the business
• Must be self-motivated, be attentive to detail, be able to multi-task, and be able to act well under pressure
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Excellent planning organising skills

Desirable:

• Good knowledge of test tools
• A good knowledge of the relevant Insurance Industry sector
• Experience of writing simple SQL queries
• Experience with some scripting or programming language
