This is a unique immediate opportunity for 2 consultants to join the market leading Global Banking Asset Management division as a graduate recruitment consultant based in London-City.

Our front office team in London has been mapping and developing relationships in the Global Banking Asset Management markets since our foundation in 1984. We focus on a variety of mandates from senior search to contingent assignments with Corporate Investment Banks, Asset Managers, Advisory Houses and other Financial Institutions. Your role will be as a graduate consultant on a team focusing on the origination and execution of retained, exclusive and contingent search mandates across the spectrum of Debt, Structured Finance, Fixed Income, MA / Corporate Finance, Private Equity and Asset Management.

The team is predominantly front office focused across business origination roles, both buy side and sell side, combined with fund manager and research roles.

The team covers roles from Analyst to MD level. The Manager role would be expected to focus on senior mandates.

Responsibilities:
• Origination and execution of retained, exclusive and contingent search mandates.
• Achievement of an individual and a team income target.
• Management of a portfolio of clients across the Investment Banking and Asset Management spectrum.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

• A good degree in a finance/business/economics related discipline
• Experience in the Financial Services arena ideally with some exposure to MA / Corporate Finance, Private Equity or Asset Management an advantage but not necessary.
• Ability to build credibility and gravitas to meet and impress senior Investment Bankers.
• A determined attitude and drive to succeed.
• Strong networking, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and the willingness to take ownership of their portfolio roles.
