Summary of Responsibilities:
The Graphic Designer shall be responsible for playing a key role in designing all aspects of Santander Consumer USA Inc's (SC USA) and its products visual identity and brand. This includes internal and external print and promotional items, presentations, online banner ads, email campaigns, customer and dealer collateral items, direct mail and occasional web, social media and search engine marketing campaigns.
Essential Functions:
- A strong eye for details while being able to complete projects quickly.
- Creating from templates or from scratch printed items using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Designing and management of HTML email templates. This includes using current templates and creating new templates.
- Ability to work with internal business owners on high end presentations, info-graphics, direct mail pieces, and other various design and print requests.
- Working with outside vendors such as printers, mailers, ESP's and others.
- Coding html/css from Illustrator and/or Photoshop layouts.
- Maintaining/deploying web content.
Other Functions:
- Special projects as requested
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite
- 3-5 years of email marketing campaign experience
- 3-5 years of web design HTML email experience
- Keen eye to preserve integrity of the design throughout the entire development process
- Self-motivator/flexible/team player
- Able to work in a fast pace environment with multiple projects
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
