Greenfield Delta 1 Trading Platform – VP C# GUI Developer recruitment
My client is a Tier 1 Investment Bank based in Canary Wharf. They are seeking an exceptional C# GUI Software Engineer to contribute to the design and development of a greenfield Delta 1 trading platform.
This is a genuine opportunity to work for one of the City’s leading Front Office technology teams. Here the chosen candidate will be offered a huge amount of technical autonomy in the creation of next generation sales and trading systems for a mission critical area of the bank.
The chosen candidate will have an outstanding aptitude and track record for analytical and practical problem solving in a commercial setting, as well as the following:
- Exceptional knowledge of C#.
- Very strong knowledge of WPF, MVVM, Linq, Prism, multithreading, TPL.
- Any previous experience working with, Apache Camel, Lucene, Tibco RV, KDB/Q, SQL is also considered highly advantageous.
- Previous experience working in the Delta 1, Equities or Derivatives space is required.
- Thorough understanding of the principles of OOA/D, data modelling, data structures and algorithms.
- Able to work in a mentoring/tutoring capacity to Junior Software Engineers.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Experience or interest in Agile development.
