Group Controller recruitment
A Global Energy Trading business experiencing year on year growth and with an enviable reputation in the market, have a newly created Group Controller position. Based out of the London HQ you will be required to work across a global remit, defining relationships and influencing activity across a portfolio of subsidiaries.
Primarily you will focus around provision of timely and accurate delivery of group consolidation reporting, analysis, and control across the group. On-going development of system reporting and consolidation capabilities will be necessary to support future ambitions of the business.
It is essential to have outstanding relationship building skills within this position, providing support across numerous business units and subsidiaries, as well as raising the profile of department in the wider business. The ability to influence and define relationships combined with significant commerciality are key to the successful delivery of critical analysis through to executive management and regional heads, as well as to the departments future growth.
This position has been newly created due to continued growth and the need to establish functions to service both HQ and international operations. Consequently individuals need to show that they are able to adapt to a changing environment and display a flexible approach in their role as well as in taking on more project based responsibilities. You will be a hands-on Qualified Accountant able to bring ideas to the table as well as strive to develop this department further through the continuous improvement of processes.
