Software Development Engineer (C++ or JAVA) recruitment

You will be first trained to our product and domain, to our methodologies and to our processes through training sessions, exercises and then through Care Maintenance activity. Then, you will participate to development of new Kondor+ / TopOffice functionalities. Integrated in a team under responsibility of Team Leader you will work closely with Financial Engineering, 3rd level support team and Quality Assurance team across our different centers around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Financial engineering, 3rd level support, and product management teams to understand the business requirements.
- Design and implement new functionalities
- Promote high level coding and design standards
- Mentor junior developers
- Take care of customers issues according to priorities
Requirments
- A master degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development (software company or banks)
- Strong C/C++ skills (including OO and STL) or JAVA skills
- UML skills / Design Patterns
- Good spoken and written English
- Good Unix or Windows skills
- One of:
- - Windows Expertise
- - System / Performance tuning
- - MS-SQL specialist
- - Complex build systems
- Experience in scrum methodology is a plus
- Unit test writing experience
- SQL / Java / QT
- Experience with industry standard tools for code coverage, debugging, performance profiling, memory management
- Software Editor Experience is a plus
