Group External Reporting, VP
We are currently recruiting for a Global Bank for their Group External Reporting team at a VP level.
We are looking for technically strong individuals who have extensive financial reporting experience at a group level and thorough working knowledge of IFRS ideally within financial services.
You are likely to have trained with a Top 20/Top 4 firm and enjoy the technical challenge of working within a group financial accounting/control function but now looking for the next step and within a team that offers excellent progression or mobility longer term.
You will identify and interpret new financial reporting requirements and be comfortable with large, complex data sets and be able to co-ordinate over a large network.
As a proactive individual you will also be able to demonstrate where you have added value to date where you have identified opportunities to re-engineer business processes and deliver best practice process improvement.
This role offers excellent exposure to the group and the most senior stakeholders requiring excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work under pressure in a hugely demanding environment.
As a qualified accountant you will have relevant financial reporting experience with a large institution, preferably in a group capacity. You will have a fundamental understanding of the dynamics of the financial statements of a financial services organisation. Strong knowledge of IFRS is essential as is the understanding of relevant regulatory issues.
