Group Financial Reporting, Vice President recruitment
Glenhill Group are working on behalf of a top-tier bank, we are recruiting for a senior candidate to head up the group financial reporting, group accounting policies team. We are looking for candidates with at least 10 years of relevant banking and finance experience and strong knowledge of accounting developments. The incumbent must be meticulous and systematic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will also need to have strong analytical skills.
As the Vice President, you will be responsible in monitoring any changes in accounting developments and financial reporting standards where you will execute these changes throughout the organisation, which includes updating the Group Accounting Policy Manual. The job holder will also be responsible in the disclosures in financial statements as well as provide insights on technical matters.
This is a senior role where you will be required to provide insights on technical matters including special projects; you will also lead and mentor your team as well as interact with senior stakeholders and provide strategic recommendation based on findings from analysis.
