Group Investments Compliance Analyst recruitment

A brand new role created as part of a restructure within our Group Investment (GI) area due to growth in size and complexity and a substantial increase in funds under management, the role of Group Investments Compliance Analyst will see you:
- Monitor changes in the investment regulatory framework in all jurisdictions in which Group companies operate (currently UK, Switzerland, Bermuda, Belgium, France and Netherlands) and advise accordingly
- Understand GI and monitor GI activities to ensure they comply and that appropriate records are maintained
- Advise whether strategic/tactical asset allocation complies with regulations
- Maintain GI regulatory procedures and ensure all legal documentation meets current regulatory requirements
- Ensure investment guidelines for external fund managers are fully compliant with current regulations (including but not limited to INSPRU and GENPRU).
- Review and analyse financial services providers’ KYC requirements and ensure Amlin meets such requirements
- Maintain the Investment Manual and lists of authorised signatories
As Group Investments Compliance Analyst you’ll need:
- Proven specific experience in investment regulations within an insurance company
- A good understanding of MiFID, the FSA rules (COBS, GENPRU, INSPRU)
- Exposure to the regulatory framework of other European countries and ideally of Switzerland and Bermuda.
- Excellent drafting and presentations skills
- The ability to analyse appropriate regulations in the context of Amlin’s investment activities.
