Our division designs and develops the systems, software and solutions that make millisecond transaction times cost-effective and reliable. Every second, we face the technological and logistical challenges implicit in growth, market change and constant competition.
Position Overview
The candidate will be the lead project manager for the core team in Singapore which will be responsible for delivery of the GBS workstream across the 15 locations. The core team is responsible for the mapping of data from source and the actual set up and config within the vendor model
Due to the nature of the project as well as project management the candidate will need to become the subject matter expert for the chosen vendor package using the essential technical skills of having a proven ability in data mining and database management. The ability to disseminate this knowledge to his team and the end users is key and must become a core skill
In addition the candidate will need to ensure the current DB data standards for the reporting and reconciliation tools within DB are adhered too and will need to determine and apply appropriate workflow definitions to ensure accurate and timely submissions within the project.
The chosen candidate will need to work closely with the Test and Conversion Manager to ensure our approach and methodologies and appropriate and workable to ensure end user sign off. Automation is key to the success of this and prior experience of automation tools is essential
Responsibilities
The Project Manager, with a proven track record in delivery, will work for the Programme and report to the GBS stream lead and responsibilities will include:
• Creating and maintaining project plans, and capture deviations as they occur, mitigate risks that impact short term plan.
• Manage project resource, including BA, testing teams and allocated project user groups
• Understand and manage scope across multiple deliveries ensuring scope is • Create and implement a communication strategy. Ensure that the communication strategy addresses key stakeholders risks and mitigation plans are in place.
• Support soft change transition phase around people and process.
• Conduct post implementation review of benefits
• Engage with IT colleagues throughout
Governance
• Maintain project meeting structures of regular weekly Opco’s, smaller working groups and Monthly management Steering Committee • Prepare and chair regular meetings for progress review with stakeholders • Provide regular project transparency by reporting project status via appropriate tools such as project dashboards and Sharepoint • Manage negotiations and prioritization of conflicting resources effectively • Escalation as and when required
Requirements • Ideal candidate should have minimum 5+ years of financial industry operations experience
• Candidate should have should have a minimum of 3+ years of working and having a proven track record for delivery in a change environment role
• Established project management credentials and software development lifecycle (PMI or equivalent accreditation beneficial)
• Extensive experience in project planning, tracking and progress reporting
• Strong presentation and documentation skills as well as written and oral communication skills
• Expert knowledge of business analysis techniques
• Proven ability in data mining and database management
• Good cross product knowledge
• Architecture and design skills
• Experience in Operations or prior business analysis experience in a project environment
• Previous experience defining / executing User Acceptance Testing
• Advanced SQL experience
