Hadoop Technical Lead
A financial organisation in London is looking for a Hadoop Technical Lead. The overall purpose of this role is to design implement Data Warehouse, Data Integration Analytic solutions using Big Data / Open Source technologies.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for producing technical designs / solutions
· Translate technical requirements E2E designs into technical implementations based on system capabilities
· Need to define optimal solutions addressing functional and non- functional requirements.
· Contributes to, and encourages ideas and builds on the suggestions of others
Skills:
· Hands-on/technical experience with high proficiency on Big Data / Hadoop technologies
· Experience in implementing big data solutions ( 2 billion data entries sets)
· Experience Leading teams
· Core Programming including Java, Scala, C
· Knowledge of regulatory, legal, group Risk focussed implementations will be preferred
