Helpdesk Advisor

Our client, a leading Building Services and Facilities Provider is recruiting for numerous Help Desk Operators, to be based in their office in Basingstoke.

To be a successful candidate will need previous Help Desk/call handling experience and ideally will have to have worked in the engineering/facilities management industry before.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient handling of all calls to the help desk, dispatching work to mobile engineers and maintaining strong communication links with the management team, engineers and customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:-
• Receive and log calls on the system and engage relevant staff to take effective action.
• Monitor and record actions made/taken while communicating with the customer to bring calls to a satisfactory conclusion.
• Issue reactive works to the on-site and mobile teams.
• Ensure reactive work orders are completed on the system in a timely manner.
• Database maintenance and administration.
• Assisting in the preparation of reports and data.
• Accident and incident reporting.
• Raise Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders.

Candidate Requirements:-

Essential Attributes:-
• Relevant and recent experience in a professional customer services environment.
• PC literate with experience of MS Office applications i.e. Word Excel
• Exceptional administration and time management skills
• Excellent organisational and communication skills

Desirable Attributes:-
• NVQ level 3 in Customer Service
• Working knowledge of help desk tools
• Experience of the building services industry
