Hardware Engineer Job in Kennesaw 30144, Georgia Us
Immediate need for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer with a BSEE or MSEE and a minimum of 12-14 years experience in hardware design and integration using microprocessor based controllers for commercial environmental and refrigeration controls. This includes individual products and overall system design that integrates many products together. This position does not currently offer relocation. Prefer candidates from the Northwest Metro Atlanta area.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for design and integration of hardware using microprocessor based controllers for the control of refrigeration and environmental control systems
- Responsible for designs requiring digital design skills along with designing analog interfaces to sensors and actuators
- Responsible for writing requirement documents and Engineering Specifications
Requirements
- Requires a BSEE or MSEE and a minimum of 12 - 14 years of experience
- Requires hardware design and integration experience with microprocessor based controllers (8/16/32 bit microcontroller and bussed architectures), preferably with TI (Texas Instruments) microprocessors
- Requires experience in design of switching power supplies and Ethernet interfaces
- Requires digital design skills along with design of analog interfaces to sensors and actuators
- Requires ability to be a team leader on projects and provide project leadership on concept to production designs
- Familiar with writing C or C++ code for micro-controllers with coding experience focused on I/O programming and writing communication drivers
- Must have experience with the design of A/D and D/A interfaces, design of communication interfaces and with the design of switching power supplies is desired
