Head, Country Product Management, UAE recruitment

Revenue Responsibilities:
* Revenue Accountability: Jointly accountable for delivering Transaction Banking revenues for UAE with Transaction Banking Sales and OCC Relationship Management teams.

Product Management:
* Product Programme Management: Ensure that product programmes are approved and kept up to date for all Transaction Banking (Cash, Trade, Custody etc) products and channels in UAE and Supply Chain and Trade Products in UAE.
* Product Development: Lead in the identification and prioritization of product channel requirements and gaps (i.e. development of CVP, PAR etc) in the country, make recommendations for new development and secure funding where necessary.
* Project Management UAT: Leading project management activities related to new product development, launch and User acceptance testing activities.
* Product Launch: Manage the local implementation of new products and/or enhancements developed to meet country needs.
* Product Support: Provide initial (3-6 months) support to the local sales team on new products and/or channels, including major enhancements. This includes arranging product training sessions for the sales team and ensuring that products/channels are properly supported by IS and Service Delivery following their introduction.

Performance Management:
* Utilization Monitoring / MIS: With input from Sales, Solution Delivery, Finance and Service Delivery, coordinate the circulation of various reports listing utilization and volumes.
* Service Quality: Work with CSG, Service Delivery and Sales in seeking customer feedback on banks service levels and related initiatives.
* Financial: Act as a knowledge expert on the product sets including financials (PL, Balance sheet, KPI's etc) and coordinate annual budgets ongoing forecasts. Provide suggestions to improve profitability performance and implement any approved recommendations.

Competitor / Capability Analysis:
* Market: Understand the local market in terms of size, share, structure, potential, customer segmentation, buyer behaviours and competitor analysis within the country (and region) for the relevant product sets. Lead market research as required.
* Benchmarking: Carry out competitor benchmarking exercise to help the senior management shape the banks sales, marketing, product, pricing and service strategies
* Pricing: Conduct regular pricing reviews (minimum annually) including impact of waivers or non-standard pricing and implement appropriate local pricing at a product level. Pricing reviews should include comparison of key competitors pricing.
* Network Guides: Help prepare Network Service Guides as well as document Country Value Proposition.

Sales Campaign and Communication:
* Campaigns: Conduct Customer or internal campaigns to provide impetus and support to Sales activities/targets.
* Customer Feedback / Awards: Coordinate customer surveys (internal and external) as well as submission for various awards like Euro-Finance etc.
* Communications: Send regular internal communication listing Transactions Banking Sales and Product activities related to Cash, Trade and Solution Delivery as well as key financial performance.
* Customer Events: Help arrange Customer events in coordination with Sales targeting prospect/pipeline names.
* Sales Support: Provide support (but not lead) in the following activities: product sales campaigns, RFP responses, complex customer implementations, advice on customer preferential pricing, channel or product migrations.
* Customer Calls: Support the RMs and BDMs in customer calls especially those which require extensive product Support.
* Training: Carry out product training sessions for internal as well as external audiences.

Strategic Input:
* Forecast: Assist the Transaction Banking Head UAE in preparing forecasts and projections based on current run-rates, inputs from Sales and market/economic trends.
* Strategy: Quantify and provide information to country group management by analyzing the impact economic consequences of market trends, changing customer requirements and competitor offerings for the dual purpose of performance management and strategy development. Implement actions as required.
* Problem Solving: Based on data gathered during competitor capability analysis, customer feedback, utilization and financial monitoring support the Transaction Banking Head UAE in solving operational, financial, sales and service issues.

* Postgraduate / MBA or equivalent education preferred, but not essential.
* Significant experience within Wholesale banking/similar environment, with exposure to Transaction Banking Sales and WB Operations highly desired.
* The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role.
* In depth knowledge of Cash, Trade, FX and Lending products is required.
* Excellent understanding of strategic issues (CR, WB and Group)
* Strong leadership, motivational and influencing skills are essential.
* Experience in customer and secondary research preferred.
* Experience in project management desirable.
