The Head of AML Sanctions (Singapore) will provide leadership to promote compliance with ANZ's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CFT) Economic and Trade Sanctions (ETS) obligations and will be an authority on all matters concerning AML and sanctions.

Your major areas of responsibility will include Advisory, Governance and Policies Implementation; KYC Review and Approval for High Risk Customers; Execution and Implementation; Suspicious Transaction Reviews and Reporting; MIS and Reporting plus Training Development.

This critical role will see you partner with ANZ Singapore's Chief Compliance Officer, engaging with senior leaders and management teams, plus facing off directly with the business.

Qualifications

Our preferred candidate will hold relevant tertiary level qualification combined with 5-10 years of AML practical compliance experience within a Singapore Commercial Banking environment. Additionally, the candidate must have a strong knowledge of the laws applicable to anti-money laundering in Singapore, OFAC sanction requirements and other AML guidelines and practices globally.

The candidate will have a well-established relationship with both regulator and enforcement units in Singapore. Strong writing, analytical and communication skills and ability to multi-task and complete projects on time are essential. Lastly, advanced interpersonal skills will help you to engage with key leaders and stakeholders across the ANZ business.
