Head of Asean and India Equity research (Buy side)
As a regional head of research, you will be responsible for :
Analyst mentoring and management- you will be responsible for managing the daily and research output of the research analyst and to ensure that the quality are consistent with the values and standard of the firm's.
Strategy- working closely with the Head of Asia research to determine strategy, resources, training and stock coverage for the research team and to add ideas for the future of research in the region as a whole
Recruitment- hiring of new research analysts
People management and performance measurement- conduct regular performance appraisal and to actively participate in compensation review of your staff as well as to provide career guidance and recommendation for the team
The basic requirements for this role are as follows
Strong tetiary qualification with depth and years of experience as a highly successful investment analyst.
Strong technical skills. Have solid accounting skills as well as various valuation technique.
Solid people manager and leader. To be able to identify investment talents and nurture such aspirations in analysts.
Candidates with the following experience could be of interest: Management consulting from a top tier consulting firm, Buy side PM or senior analyst, or senior investor relations.
Good understanding of Asia Pacific equities markets.
Integrity and work ethics.
Solid communication skills.
Goal driven.
